The objective of CMCA is to be a useful resource to the Christian meeting planner, as well as to foster friendships among planners and suppliers through both national and local events. It is our goal to build a network of support, ministry-sharing ideas and convention and meeting planning ideas.

As the association continues to grow, CMCA will become an umbrella that provides a variety of information both to the planner and the supplier.

Currently, CMCA provides these services to its members:

• Spring Showcase, to which all suppliers and members are invited. The showcase offers education, a trade show, devotions and lots of fellowship. Supplier attendance at this event is limited to 1.5 suppliers per planner attending.
• Individual listing on CMCA’s Web site
• Supplier’s Web site may be linked to CMCA’s Web site
• Prayer Team that is committed to praying for requests of CMCA members
• Periodic CMCA newsletters to keep the membership informed
• Yearly membership directory of planners and suppliers
• Yearly directory of value dates of hotel and city suppliers who are CMCA members
• Training on meeting industry issues at CMCA’s Showcase
• Periodic receptions/seminars in areas in which several CMCA members are located
• Database of Christian speakers and musicians, to whom you may refer clients
• Database of various convention service suppliers, to whom you may refer clients
