Christian Meetings & Conventions Association (CMCA) is a new association of Christian meeting planners. Our unity is in honor of the Gospel. As members, we have corporate meeting planners, as well as planners who work for Christian organizations.

Christian Meetings & Conventions Association was formed on Feb. 1, 2000, and currently has about 375 meeting planner members. These members are from throughout the United States. CMCA’s total membership is currently about 850. The organization is based in Denver, CO.

CMCA held two national events in 2002. Our Inaugural Showcase was held in Birmingham, AL, in April. About 110 persons attended, and it was a wonderful beginning! We held a weekend retreat in the fall of 2002 at the beautiful Omni Interlocken Resort near Denver. That also was a successful event.

Each year, CMCA plans to hold two national shows a year. One show is in the spring and the other show is in the fall.

Supplier attendance at the shows is limited to 1.5 suppliers per planner attending.

Membership for suppliers is just $250 per year. The $250 membership fee includes:

• Directory of planners and suppliers. This directory will be provided once a year upon member's renewal or enrollment.
• Invitation to attend and exhibit at conventions and events. CMCA will strive to keep conference costs reasonable for suppliers. Also, we will limit the number of suppliers allowed to register for the events to the number of planners attending. That way, as suppliers, you will not outnumber the planners, even at the shows.
